Reign E+
The 2026-on Giant Reign Advanced E+ is a clear reset for the Reign E platform, repositioning it as Giant’s top descending-focused enduro e-MTB. This generation moves to a full composite chassis and a revised Maestro suspension layout with a new integrated lower link, delivering 170mm of rear travel matched to a 180mm fork. Giant has also reshaped the suspension behavior with a more progressive leverage curve, aiming for greater support deeper in the travel and better control on repeated big hits. Taken together, those changes point to a bike built less around all-purpose trail riding and more around high-speed, technical descending where composure and margin matter most.
The other major update is the move to Giant’s newer 48V drive system. The SyncDrive Pro 3 motor produces 90Nm and up to 800W peak, powered by an integrated 560Wh EnergyPak Smart battery, with the option to add a 280Wh range extender for 840Wh total capacity. Giant’s emphasis here is not just outright power, but improved efficiency and reduced heat and energy loss compared with the previous 36V setup. Combined with expanded fit and handling adjustability through both a wheel/geometry flip-chip and an adjustable-reach headset with 5mm short/mid/long positions, this generation is aimed at riders who want a hard-hitting e-enduro bike that can be tuned closely to terrain and rider preference.
