Fastlane eRIDE
The 2026 Scott Fastlane eRIDE is a clean-sheet e-road platform built around TQ’s HPR40 mid-drive system rather than a conventional high-torque, high-battery approach. With 40Nm of torque, roughly 200W of maximum assist, and a 290Wh internal battery, it is aimed at riders who want light assistance that preserves the feel and silhouette of a normal drop-bar road bike. Scott has paired that system with a carbon frame, fully integrated cabling, and a notably restrained control layout using TQ’s bar-end display instead of a large cockpit-mounted screen, reinforcing the bike’s low-visibility, road-first brief.
What distinguishes the Fastlane is that it is not trying to blur into gravel or utility territory. Its design is explicitly endurance-road oriented, with geometry derived from Scott’s Addict endurance platform and quoted tire clearance topping out around 34mm. That keeps it focused on paved riding, fast mixed-surface road use, and long-distance riding where riders want subtle support rather than outright motor dominance. In the market, it sits as a modern replacement for earlier, more visibly electric e-road concepts: a stealthy, lightweight-assisted road bike for riders who want help on climbs, in headwinds, or over long days without giving up the fit, handling, and appearance of a contemporary carbon endurance bike.
