36|39 Tubular
by Reserve
It's no surprise that the big races like the Tour de France are won in the mountains. That is where the fittest, fastest climbers can put the maximum time on the competition and create the time gaps necessary to ensure victory. A big part ofTeam-Jumbo Visma's plan in 2023 was making sure eventual winner Jonas Vingegaard had the lightest bike possible. So it should come as no surprise that Jonas outfitted his Cervelo R5 with Reserve tubular wheelset, the 36|39. This wheelset provided the perfect balance between weight, stability and aerodynamics, allowing Team JV to secure consecutive TDF victories. Note: Tubular wheels like the Reserve 36|39 require tubular tires that are glued to the rim during the installation process. Tubeless or tube-style tires are not compatible with the Reserve 36|39.
