The Yeti MTe is Yeti’s light-assist electric mountain bike platform, introduced for 2025 and carried forward unchanged into 2026. It is built around a TURQ carbon frame, 145 mm of rear travel via the brand’s Sixfinity suspension layout, and a 160 mm fork, placing it squarely in the aggressive trail to light enduro segment rather than the full-power e-bike category. The bike’s defining concept is relatively clear: pair Yeti’s established suspension and chassis priorities with the compact TQ HPR60 drive system to create an e-MTB that preserves much of the handling, packaging, and visual restraint of a conventional mountain bike.

The MTe range is offered in three builds: C2 90 Transmission, T3 X0 AXS Transmission, and T4 XX AXS Transmission. Even from the build names alone, the lineup shows a clear hierarchy, with the C-series model positioned as the more accessible option and the T-series bikes sitting higher in the range. Across all three, SRAM Transmission drivetrains are a defining spec theme, aligning with the frame’s SRAM UDH compatibility and underscoring that Yeti intended the bike to use current wireless, direct-mount drivetrain standards rather than more conventional e-MTB parts mixes.
At the top end, the T4 XX AXS Transmission is the premium build, while the T3 X0 AXS Transmission is the more pragmatic high-end option likely aimed at riders who want flagship performance without chasing the lightest possible kit. The C2 90 Transmission rounds out the range as the entry point into the same MTe platform and motor system. Without detailed component lists or prices, the main takeaway is that Yeti has kept the frame, suspension format, and core e-bike architecture consistent across the line, with the build spread focused on escalating drivetrain level and overall finish rather than fundamentally different versions of the bike.
